The jealousy kept secret of Moutarde de Meaux® was passed on by the Chanoines. From the 19th century, the Pommery family remained the only ones to manufacture mustard, with a quality that was always constant and never equaled. Its carefully chosen ingredients, its slightly spicy flavour and its legendary mildness, contribute to making it a refined mustard. Subtle, it is perfect for accompanying the most varied of dishes, without masking the flavour.

The family business Les Assaisonnement Briards specializes in the manufacture of high-end mustards and vinegars, products made only from ingredients carefully selected for their quality. Our products including the renowned Moutarde de Meaux® Pommery®, created in 1632, have been recognized and appreciated by the finest gourmets since the 17th century as well as by many chefs. The quality of the sandstone used, a most natural material, but also of its 100% natural cork stopper allows it an optimal natural conservation. With knowledge handed down for 5 generations, our house has been able to modernize its ranges by adapting its products in different container sizes and offering varied flavors while emphasizing on the choice and quality of the ingredients chosen. Our products are regularly awarded medals during the world mustard competition and the variation of the range will delight a clientele of Epicureans most demanding.
